About Us

Established in 1971, Oxfordshire Dyslexia Association (ODA) supports children & adults with dyslexia and their families. The ODA works locally and nationally to raise awareness of dyslexia.

We can help with screening, reading, writing, spelling, maths, teacher-support, and more.

We provide:

  • information and advice about dyslexia

  • support to children and adults with dyslexia

  • support for parents of children with dyslexia

  • contact details of specialist teachers

  • names of specialist assessors

  • advice to students in further or higher education

  • advice to employees/employers

We also liaise with the local education authority in matters related to dyslexia and education. Our aim is to enable teachers to recognise dyslexia and for schools to take suitable action in good time.

On our website you will find information and advice. Please do feel free to contact us if the infomation you are looking for is not here.
